Writers Needed For The Following Projects:

1. Original Screenplay: Romatic fantasy with a female lead requiring research into 19th Century French art. Strong period dialogue skills required along with a great understanding of commercial romance films.

2. Original Screenplay: Period disaster film based on actual events. Intended for an all-star cast. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to write for an ensamble A-list cast, investing us in the characters who are in life and death situations. Also needed is the ability to write suspenseful action sequences.

3. Original Screenplay: Modern comedy with a special focus on Southern characters. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to overcome stereotypes by creating characters who are likable and sympathetic ala "Doc Hollywood". Project also requires the ability to write for a hip young black comic who plays a fish out of water.

Submission Instructions:

1. Please begin by submitting a 5-10 page script sample to our development department via email or fax. Samples must be screenplays only and must contain at least one completed scene. However, if you send 10 pages and the last scene ends on the 11th or 12th page, go ahead and send it completed. (Please do not send more than 15 pages) Do not submit samples from novels, short stories, plays, articles or other media. You can send files as Word, Final Draft or Appleworks documents.

2. Submissions will be judged on proper formatting, authentic dialogue and general style and sensibilities. All genres are acceptable for sample submissions.

3. In your cover letter please be sure to indicate which project you are interested in. Also feel free to list any accomplishments, industry contacts, contest wins, etc. Be sure to include all your contact information. Absolutely no phone calls, please.
